Madiskon develops through practical experimentation and collaboration. You can contribute through code, a local pilot, research and teaching, cultural heritage material, expertise or a development project.
Help develop the Madiskon core, user interface, integrations or tools as part of an open-source project.
Set up your own Madiskon instance and test the model with your own material. Pilots can be run by museums, associations, local heritage groups and organisations working in cultural heritage or communications.
Develop the platform, integrations or extensions as part of a funded project and share reusable results back with the community.
A university, higher education institution or other educational organisation can run its own instance as a research, teaching and experimentation environment — for example in digital history courses, student projects or source-based research.
Contribute use cases, metadata, source material, concepts and working practices from your own field.
Try out the workflows and software, comment on specifications, and help improve documentation, accessibility and usability.
Help translate the interface, documentation and terminology, and adapt them appropriately to different cultural contexts.
Operate Studio or index instances, or build deployment, maintenance and integration services around the open ecosystem.

Pyhän Olavin Kilta is initiating the development of Madiskon and provides the first practical materials and use cases for testing the model.
This page can later list organisations that have agreed to make their involvement or interest public, with their logos and a short description of the relationship. An organisation will not be described as a partner merely because a discussion has taken place.
